India Started the Delivery Process of 1st Batch of Brahmos Shore-based Anti-ship Missile System

Philippines is now in the process of receiving the first batch of the BrahMos shore-based anti-ship missile system of the Philippine Marine Corps, as India has started the process of delivery to the Philippines.

The Philippines is expected to receive the first battery of the BrahMos shore-based anti-ship missile system by 2023, according to the Indian Ambassador Shambhu Kumaran.

The Armed Forces of the Philippines acquired 3 batteries of BrahMos shore-based anti-ship missile system, the first supersonic missile ever in the country. 

It was acquired by the previous administration under the Horizon 2 phase of the Revised AFP Modernization Program.
